Bonnie Raitt Posts Live Duet with Maia Sharp for Download

Blix Street Records artist Maia Sharp is featured on a live duet posted by her friend Bonnie Raitt in anticipation of the release of Raitt's new studio album SLIPSTREAM. Sharp, who sings backgrounds on several tracks on SLIPSTREAM, will release her own new album called CHANGE THE ENDING this summer.Raitt has posted a live recording with Sharp of "I Don't Want Anything to Change" (co-written by Sharp with Stephanie Chapman and Liz Rose) from a 2009 concert at the Peoria Civic Center for streaming or download. Raitt writes on bonnieraitt.com: "To thank you all for your support and excitement about my new album and tour, I'd like to share a live recording of "I Don't Want Anything To Change." This duet with my friend Maia Sharp, one of the song's co-writers (as well as a wonderful singer/musician/ producer) was from our concert in Peoria, IL on May 4th, 2009. Maia has opened a lot of my shows, and we've sung on each others' last two records, including her great backing vocals on my new one."SLIPSTREAM, on Redwing Records, will be released on April 10 and is Raitt's first new studio album in seven years. Raitt appeared on Maia Sharp's last album release, ECHO, and sings backgrounds on two tracks on the forthcoming CHANGE THE ENDING.
