Brian Wilson has announced On Tour 1999–2007, an expansive live collection documenting one of the most creatively vibrant touring eras of his storied career. Arriving exclusively on vinyl for Record Store Day on April 18, 2026, the release will be available only at independent record stores worldwide via Oglio Entertainment.
Following the triumph of Wilson’s legendary Roxy Theatre performances in April 2000, he and his acclaimed touring ensemble carried that renewed spark across the globe. On Tour 1999–2007 traces that momentum outward, capturing inspired performances recorded between 1999 and 2007 at iconic venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, London’s Royal Festival Hall, UCLA’s Royce Hall, CenterStaging in Burbank, the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, and stages across Chicago.
The collection serves as a natural companion to last year’s Brian Wilson: Live at the Roxy Theatre (25th Anniversary Edition). While that release documented Wilson’s long-awaited and deeply emotional return to the stage, On Tour 1999–2007 follows the story forward — revealing how those intimate, sold-out Roxy shows evolved into a globe-spanning live era filled with warmth, emotional depth, and creative vitality.
Together, the two releases form a powerful chronicle of Brian Wilson’s modern touring legacy, moving from breakthrough moments to fully realized international performances that reaffirmed his enduring artistic vision.
Anchoring the collection is Wilson’s celebrated touring ensemble, many of whom emerged from the Roxy-era lineup and went on to define all of his subsequent tours and solo albums. Featured musicians across the recordings include Darian Sahanaja (keyboards, musical director, arranger, vocals), Jeff Foskett (guitar, vocals), Nick Walusko (guitar, vocals), Probyn Gregory (trumpet, French horn, keyboards, vocals), Scott Bennett (guitar, keyboards, bass, percussion, vocals), Mike D’Amico (drums & percussion), Bob Lizik (bass), Paul Mertens (woodwinds), Jim Hines and Todd Sucherman (drums), Nelson Bragg (percussion & vocals), Taylor Mills (backing vocals & percussion), Andy Paley (keyboards, vocals), Brett Simons (bass), Gary Griffin (guitar, vocals), along with orchestral contributions from The Stockholm Strings ’n’ Horns.
The tracklist highlights the breadth of Wilson’s catalog and influences — from the sweeping SMiLE-era mini-suite “Our Prayer / Gee / Heroes & Villains,” to solo gems like “Melt Away” and “Desert Drive,” to beloved Beach Boys classics including “Busy Doin’ Nothing,” “Friends,” and “The Night Was So Young.” The set also captures Wilson’s reverence for his musical heroes with spirited performances of Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode,” The Beatles’ “She’s Leaving Home,” and a heartfelt interpretation of Dennis Wilson’s “Forever.”
With arrangements by Brian Wilson and production by longtime collaborator Mark Linett, On Tour 1999–2007 preserves the intimacy and power of these performances while honoring the remarkable chemistry of a touring band that helped define this golden post-Roxy chapter.
For collectors and longtime fans alike, On Tour 1999–2007 offers a rare window into Brian Wilson’s late-career renaissance — a powerful live document bridging generations, styles, and eras, available only on vinyl and exclusively for Record Store Day.
