Bronwyn Announces New Album Rattlin’ Bones

GRAMMY-winning artist, two-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year, and former Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway member Bronwyn Keith-Hynes is entering a new era as Bronwyn with the announcement of her new album, Rattlin’ Bones, due out August 14, 2026. While her debut, Fiddler’s Pastime, showcased her virtuosic fiddle playing, and the GRAMMY-nominated I Built A World introduced her vocal talents, Rattlin’ Bones finds Bronwyn diving headfirst into a new, unknown realm of musical possibility: songwriting.

On the writing and recording process, Bronwyn shares, “My intention was to create a collection of songs that I would want to play live every night with my band.” “What turns me on? What would I want to listen to?” Brownyn asked herself, “And I wanted to make a record that you’d want to turn up so loud, it’d rattle your bones.”

Drawing from both lived experience and imagined worlds, the songs on Rattlin’ Bones are inspired by Bronwyn’s travels and home in Nashville, Tennessee, exploring individuality, adventure, and love with improvisational moments throughout.

Co-produced by Bronwyn and Brent Truitt, The SteelDrivers, at Truitt’s Nashville studio, and also at the Tractor Shed in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Rattlin’ Bones features some of Music City’s finest: dobroist Jerry Douglas, guitarists Bryan Sutton and Frank Rische, mandolinist Harry Clark, bassists Dennis Crouch and Jeff Picker, banjoist Wes Corbett, drummer Miles Miller and Bronwyn’s former Golden Highway bandmate, Dominick Leslie, as well as her touring band brethren, mandolinist Tristan Scroggins, banjoist Frank Evans, and bassist Larry Cook. Rattlin’ Bones also features a duet with Nashville’s underground country music hero, Timbo, and harmonies provided by songwriting great Darrell Scott, among others.

Today, Bronwyn shared “Sticks and Stones,” the song from which Rattlin’ Bones takes its name. Sonically inspired by her years with Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, as well as classic quick-pickers like the Del McCoury Band, the track carries a hard-won swagger shaped by years on the road.

Fans can stream or purchase “Sticks and Stones” today at this link, and pre-order or pre-save Rattlin’ Bones ahead of its August 14 release right here. Brownyn will be hitting the road this summer with dates across the U.S. For more information and a full list of tour dates, please visit bronwynfiddle.com.
