The California Roots Music & Arts Festival has moved their dates for this year’s event to October 9-11, 2020 at the Monterey County Fair and Event Center. The lineup will remain 99% intact and will feature the biggest names in reggae, hip hop, and roots music.
The original dates were to take place over Memorial Day weekend (May 22-24), and have changed due to the current COVID-19 situation. All tickets purchased for the original dates will be valid and applied for the October event. As an alternative, ticketholders who can’t make October can transfer their tickets to Cali Roots 2021 or Cali Roots 2022.
Dan Sheehan, Co-Producer states, “As we continue to deal with these unprecedented circumstances, we want to thank our community for being so patient as we navigate the best path forward. After careful consideration for the safety of our fans, staff, and artists we have decided to move Cali Roots 2020 to October 9, 10, 11. Same beautiful venue, same magical vibes, just in the autumn, when the weather is sweeter.”
He adds, “We hope we can add optimism today with our new dates and 99% of the same lineup intact for October. Our festival has always thrived because of the strength of our community, so for those who can’t make the October dates, we will make sure to take care of you for Cali Roots 2021 or 2022.”
All tickets purchased for the original May dates will be valid for the rescheduled October dates. If you cannot make the October dates, your tickets can be transferred towards Cali Roots 2021 or 2022. Ticketholders that have questions or concerns can contact for more details.
