Cross Canadian Ragweed will make a long-awaited and historic headline debut at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO on Friday, July 24, 2026. Joined by special guests Waves in April and The Smokin’ Oaks, the night promises to be a powerful celebration of songs that have shaped a generation of fans.
Few venues carry the mythic weight of Red Rocks. Carved naturally into the foothills of the Rockies, the amphitheatre is revered worldwide for its acoustics, atmosphere, and unmatched sense of place. From Sting and The Beatles to opera stars and U2, every artist aspires to play on this magical, spiritual, and emotional stage. At Red Rocks, as the saying goes, “there’s no better place to see the stars.”
“It’s a family bucket list item to play Red Rocks together. I feel like we won an award.”

With Waves in April & The Smokin’ Oaks
After a whirlwind year of sold-out stadium shows in Stillwater, Oklahoma and Waco, Texas, a few select special appearances, and stepping in for Tim McGraw to headline opening night at the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Last Cowboy Standing event in Colorado, the powerful clamor from fans to see Cross Canadian Ragweed back on stage after 15 years remains undiminished.
From Dierks Bentley’s song “Free And Easy” in 2006—where he sings “Ragweed’s rockin’ on the radio”—to Koe Wetzel’s 2019 song “Ragweed,” to the 2021 album The Years: A MusicFest Tribute to Cody Canada and the music of Cross Canadian Ragweed, to references to the band’s music in two different Stephen King novels, the deep impact of the band’s music and influence has never been allowed to fade. Instead, it has been memorialized and preserved for the existing populous of fans and the coming generations who will no doubt one day discover the band that “smells like country, tastes like rock n’ roll.”
