Crucial Reggae Sundays, the beloved free, family-friendly reggae concert series at the Bandshell in Golden Gate Park’s Music Concourse, concludes its 2025 season this November with a stellar lineup featuring international and local reggae favorites. Hosted by Irie Dole, Guidance, and DJ Sep, the weekly gatherings have become a cherished Bay Area tradition, bringing uplifting roots and dancehall vibes to the heart of San Francisco.
Each Sunday from 4:20 pm to 7:30 pm, audiences of all ages enjoy the sounds of live reggae and sound system culture in a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. The November finale month also includes a special all-day Ubuntu Festival on November 9, beginning at noon.

Crucial Reggae Sundays is produced by Illuminate LIVE in collaboration with the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department. Over the past four years, Illuminate LIVE has transformed the 125-year-old Bandshell into a vibrant hub of live music, presenting more than 600 free concerts and drawing nearly one million visitors to the park.
This fall marks the end of another incredible season, as the weekly celebration of reggae music and community spirit wraps up on November 23.
