Dark Star Orchestra is thrilled to announce that vocalist and rhythm guitarist Rob Eaton will rejoin the band for their highly anticipated five-night New Year’s run next week. After stepping away from the road earlier this fall to address health concerns, Eaton has taken the time he needed to rest and recover and is feeling reinvigorated and ready to ring in 2026 with his bandmates and the DSO community.
“I’m feeling like myself again,” said Eaton. “There’s no better way to close out this year and kick off a new one than being back on stage with my brothers and sister, playing this music for the fans who mean everything to us. See you all out there.”
Dark Star Orchestra extends heartfelt gratitude to their fans for the outpouring of love and patience shown during Rob’s recovery. The band looks forward to celebrating the new year together and continuing their mission of keeping the Grateful Dead’s musical legacy alive in 2026 and beyond.
