Watson Lake, Prescott Arizona — Welcome to the one-of-a-kind multi-sensory concert experience: the Pure Imagination Festival on May 21st 2022.  Pure Imagination’s mission is to bring diversity of sound and culture to a peerless natural setting. The inaugural festival will showcase a curated cross-section of outstanding music set outdoors against an out-of-this-world landscape in the Granite Dells at Watson Lake, Prescott, Arizona.

The lineup boasts folk-rock band Dawes, hip-hop legend Talib Kweli, three-time Grammy-winning blues artist Fantastic Negrito, world-folk favs Rising Appalachia, indie-rockers Atlas Genius, celebrated Nashville singer-songwriter Katie Pruitt, Americana-Soul music collective Ponderosa Grove, indie rock band Sarah and the Sundays, Tucson’s favorite glam-rock band Chateau Chateau, and celebrated Tempe, Arizona-based reggae music-hall-of-famer Walt Richardson, with more names soon to be announced.

Festival goers of all ages will enjoy this eco-forward all-day music event featuring food, drink, on-site hiking, kayaking, and (limited) ticketed camping.

“Prescott has a rich history in music and we want to continue to keep it alive. We created a music festival to embody an eclectic and diverse lineup of sound for all kinds of music fans to come enjoy - while also getting to experience the natural beauty and wonder of the area,” said Candace Devine, President of Further West.

"Prescott itself has a very cool old west vibe with historic Whiskey Row and scenic views in every direction. The area is also known as a hotspot for anyone that is into outdoor adventures. Because we value Prescott's exquisite scenery so much, we are focused on Pure Imagination being an eco-friendly event to lessen our imprint. We are excited for fans to come enjoy the music in the breathtaking environment while knowing they are also helping to support amazing causes. We’re ready to stun everyone musically and visually as they spend the day listening to phenomenal talent in one of the most beautiful places in the world,” continued Devine.

The impact of Pure Imagination will be amplified through donating a portion of its proceeds across three non-profits: Sweet Relief, an organization that has been helping musicians with vital living and medical expenses since 1994, Arizona Serve, a program of Prescott College that places AmeriCorps members with local organizations to increase their capacity to address poverty, and the Center for Biological Diversity, known for its work protecting endangered species.
