The 2017 Denver People’s Fair has announced the music lineup and programming schedule for its 46th annual event. With musical performances by Guster, Night Riots, and Jeremy Garrett’s Fiddle Science - a supergroup featuring members of Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters and Gipsy Moon - as well as over 30 other performances including bands, artists, drag shows, and creative community entertainers, this year’s People’s Fair sets the stage for a massive cultural showcase event that is uniquely Denver.

Since its inception in 1972, the People’s Fair has been a staple of Denver arts and culture and the largest community-based festival in the state drawing upwards of 200,000 people to Civic Center Park for the two-day event. Under the new management of Denver-based Team Player Productions, the People’s Fair expands on its historical success for 2017 by bringing in new programming to reflect the rich and diverse cultural landscape of Denver.

Leading the musical lineup for the People’s Fair are indie-rock favorites Guster, whose hit songs “Satellite” and “One Man Wrecking Machine” are treasured by alt-rock fans new and old, Night Riots, whose raw punk-rock sounds have been dropping jaws since 2010, and the newly-formed collaboration Fiddle Science, comprised of members of Leftover Salmon and The Infamous Stringdusters. Joining the music lineup are Colorado favorites Gipsy Moon, P O P F I L T E R, Kayla Marque Band, Gasoline Lollipops, SkyLaw, and many others.  Music performances are scheduled across two stages from noon to 8:00 pm Saturday, and Noon to 7:00pm Sunday.

With a focus on community engagement and interactive programming, the People’s Fair will offer events like free morning yoga hosted by Denver-based Kindness Yoga, Art In The Park where attendees can enjoy a beverage or cocktail as they create their own craft project with other inspired patrons, and countless field and lawn games to enjoy with friends new and old. Also at the fair will be a Drag Show, community dance and theater groups, the best local food trucks, and a chance to get to know some of the most innovative upcoming local businesses.

The Denver People’s Fair is free to the public, and VIP tickets are on sale now for $20. The VIP upgrade includes premium stage viewing, a shaded VIP lounge, two free drinks, a VIP bar, and separate VIP entrance all weekend.

The 46th annual Denver People’s Fair will take place this June 3rd and 4th at Civic Center Park in downtown Denver. Gates are open from 10:00am to 8:00pm Saturday, and 10:00am to 7:00pm Sunday. Proceeds go to benefit the Capital Hill United Neighborhoods (CHUN).  More info on the event can be found at www.peoplesfair.com.
