Doom and Gloom is the debut single by Ernest Graves which will be independently released on June the 17th, a psyche country trip with a 70s tinge. Ernest Graves began life as another person making another kind of music but through travels through the universe and trips around the sun landed on the planet he wanted to live.
Concocting cosmic Americana from Spider Shack Sounds he has created a world to live in far from the shine and glitter found in the modern world.
On Doom and Gloom Ernest unleashes a sound akin to the Flying Burrito Brothers, The Grateful Dead and Sticky Fingers Era Stones, with a healthy dose of everything and the kitchen sink mid 60s Dylan production style. The song is deep and lush with a lot to discover each new listen, tripping up over a new sound or texture as you get deeper. Ernest plays everything you hear on this track apart from the guest vocals in the first verse and chorus which come from an angel.
