Rising reggae-fusion artist Joey Calderaio continues to make waves in the independent music scene with the release of his latest project, Cloud Covers, a full-length studio album now available on all streaming platforms. The album showcases Joey’s signature blend of thoughtful songwriting, vibrant instrumentation, and genre-blurring energy—solidifying his place as one of the most dynamic voices in American reggae.
Hot on the heels of the album’s release, Joey has hit the road for his Winding Path Tour, a multi-city run that spans Florida and the Northeast, featuring both solo acoustic performances and full-band sets with The Future Buds. Highlights of the tour include performances alongside Kyle Smith, Ballyhoo!’s Howi Spangler, and Tomorrows Bad Seeds, as well as special free-entry shows and festival appearances. The tour brings Joey's raw, heartfelt sound directly to fans and builds on the momentum of a busy year of new music and live performance. Earlier this year, Joey also released his Visual LP, a collection of seven live acoustic performances filmed at the iconic Sugarshack Sessions in Bonita Springs, FL. Capturing the raw energy and soulful artistry that define Joey and The Future Buds, the project delivers an immersive, stripped-down experience that highlights the chemistry of the group and the emotional core of the music.
“My band, The Future Buds, and I recorded seven original songs at Sugarshack Sessions, and it was one of the best experiences of my career,” Joey shares. “We played a mix of my personal favorites and fan-favorite tracks, bringing new life to them with special acoustic arrangements.” From the soaring keys of Alex to Easton’s expressive lead guitar work, Harley’s tight grooves, and Sam’s seamless basslines and harmonies, Joey & The Future Buds bring their live show to life through both studio recordings and onstage presence.
