Colorado’s genre-bending rock powerhouse Float Like a Buffalo is set to release their latest record, Float Like a Buffalo Live at Dillon Amphitheater, on November 7, 2025, exclusively through Bandcamp. Captured live on July 14, 2025, while opening for Lotus at the scenic Dillon Amphitheater in Dillon, CO, the album distills the sweat, soul, and spontaneity of a band whose live shows have become a can’t-miss experience across the jam and festival circuit.
The performance, played to an at-capacity crowd on a bluebird Colorado evening – brims with the high-octane grooves, tight horn lines, and audience interplay that have made Float Like a Buffalo one of the region’s most talked-about emerging acts. The record features two brand-new, never-before-released songs alongside high-octane versions of fan favorites, all tracked in-the-moment with no overdubs, a true reflection of the band’s unfiltered energy.
“This album captures the electricity of a night when everything clicked,” says sax/trumpet player Luke Story. “The crowd was with us from the first note, and we wanted to give that energy back – that’s what live music is all about.”
