FOREIGNER has announced that original lead singer Lou Gramm and founding keyboardist Al Greenwood will reunite with the band for a series of special performances as the band continues its historic 50th Anniversary celebrations.
Gramm will join FOREIGNER aboard the Rock Legends Cruise, departing from Miami February 21, 2027, followed by six performances at The Venetian in Las Vegas in March. Greenwood will join FOREIGNER for five select shows in Georgia and California this September and October before returning to the stage with the band for FOREIGNER’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR OF NEW YORK in spring 2027.
The appearances will give fans a rare opportunity to see two of the musicians who helped create FOREIGNER’s unmistakable sound performing once again with the band as it celebrates five decades of rock history.

“New York is where FOREIGNER began, so there could be no better place to celebrate 50 years of our music,” said FOREIGNER founder Mick Jones. “The songs have connected FOREIGNER with audiences for five decades, and these four shows will be a celebration of the fans who have been with us since the beginning.”
As a founding member and the original lead singer of FOREIGNER, Lou Gramm played a defining role in creating the unmistakable sound that propelled the band to international superstardom. His powerful, distinctive vocals are at the heart of many of FOREIGNER’s greatest recordings, including “Feels Like The First Time,” “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Double Vision,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Urgent” and the worldwide No. 1 smash “I Want To Know What Love Is.”
Gramm joined Mick Jones in the original FOREIGNER lineup in 1976 and was there as the band embarked on an extraordinary run of multi-platinum albums and chart-topping hits. Beginning with FOREIGNER’s self-titled debut in 1977, Gramm’s soaring voice became one of the most recognizable in rock music. His performances on landmark albums including Foreigner, Double Vision, Head Games, 4 and Agent Provocateur helped establish FOREIGNER as one of the biggest and most enduring rock bands of its generation.
Gramm’s return carries special significance as FOREIGNER celebrates the 50th anniversary of its formation. Also a founding member of FOREIGNER, Al Greenwood was instrumental in shaping the band’s early sound. He performed on FOREIGNER’s first three albums, Foreigner, Double Vision and Head Games — and his keyboard work became an integral part of some of the band’s most enduring recordings.
Greenwood was the first musician chosen by Mick Jones as he assembled the band in 1976 and was there as FOREIGNER began its extraordinary run of hit records. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 1977 and introduced the world to classics including “Feels Like The First Time,” “Cold As Ice” and “Long, Long Way From Home.” The success continued with Double Vision and Head Games, cementing FOREIGNER’s place among the defining rock bands of its generation.
Greenwood’s return brings another piece of FOREIGNER’s original lineup back to the stage during the band’s 50th Anniversary celebration, connecting the group’s extraordinary history with the musicians carrying its music forward today.
The 2027 New York run will bring that celebration particularly close to home. FOREIGNER was formed in New York in 1976, making the four-show engagement a fitting centerpiece of the band’s 50th Anniversary festivities. With Greenwood joining the band, the performances will offer audiences a direct connection to FOREIGNER’s beginnings and the music that launched its remarkable five-decade career.
