Seaside Park:  370 acres of lush lawns, shady glades, sports fields, a skate park and two miles of pristine beach overlooking Long Island Sound. Donated to the city of Bridgeport in 1873 by circus impresario P.T. Barnum.  Gathering of the Vibes site in 1999, 2000 and 2007.

Gathering of the Vibes:  Four day, carside camping, all ages event with on site food, beverage and arts and crafts vendors.  Kids Corner and Teen Scene to entertain the younger attendees. More than forty musical acts on three stages.

Non-Profit and Green Vibes participants include: HeadCount - devoted to voter registration; Rex Foundation - non-profit charitable arm of the Grateful Dead; Strangers Helping Strangers - food drives to benefit local shelters and food banks; Habitat for Humanity - builds homes for low income families; Special Olympics - sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with disabilities; Solar Jam Productions - provides solar power to run sound, lights and production services; Save The Sound - dedicated to restoration and protection of the Long Island Sound; Community Energy, Inc. - devoted to increasing the domestic supply of clean, wind-generated energy.

To encourage carpooling, Thursday entrance is free for weekend ticket holders who arrive with three or more adults in their vehicle; otherwise, Thursday entrance is $20 per vehicle.
