Acclaimed GRAMMY-nominated band Gov’t Mule has revealed that Island Exodus 16 will officially return in 2027, following an unexpected postponement earlier this year due to hurricane damage. The band’s annual “concert-cation” experience will take place January 17-21, 2027 at its new location, the Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters Montego Bay in Trelawny, Jamaica. The all-inclusive resort offers an elevated experience for all attendees and musicians featuring a beautiful beach, better restaurants, modern room accommodations, and more.
The original Island Exodus 16 lineup remains intact with Gov’t Mule serving as the ultimate hosts, performing three 2-set shows with special guest John Scofield sitting in. Mule’s GRAMMY-winning frontman, guitar legend, and producer Warren Haynes will also perform a special afternoon solo set. Also joining the party are moe. and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, each doing two shows throughout the event.
Pre-sale for Island Exodus Alumni begins Monday, March 30th with the public on-sale commencing Wednesday, April 1st at 10am ET. Activities will include a Q&A with Warren Haynes, cornhole tournament hosted by Kevin Scott, Yoga with Bubba, The Fan Jam, beach tie-dye, and more. All guests will receive a limited-edition lenticular 3D event poster signed by the members of Gov’t Mule. There will also be an extra set from Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country on January 16th for an “Exodus Eve” pre-party.
