SF Giants -- Grateful Dead 50th Aniversary Celebration!

The San Francisco Giants invite you to join them in celebrating the Grateful Dead Tribute Night 50th Anniversary Celebration! This August, come on out and celebrate the rich legacy of the Dead for one special night at the MetLife Stadium in San Francisco. Members of the original band, as well as member of the Garcia family with be in attendance, and participating in special pre-game events taking place on-field. Proceeds from every special event ticket sold will be donated to various non-profits near and dear to the band's heart. Don't miss this once in a lifetime event!

Ticket packages include a ticket to the Thursday evening game versus the Nationals, and a collector's-edition 50th Anniversary Grateful Dead-themed Giants item.

WHEN: Thursday, 8/13 SF vs. WAS 7:15 p.m.

On June 24, Round Records & ATO Records will release GarciaLive Volume Six: July 5, 1973 – Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders, the latest installment of the celebrated GarciaLive archival series. The three-CD set was recorded at the 200 capacity Lion’s Share club formerly located in the small town of San Anselmo, CA, just 20 miles north of San Francisco. The performance features Jerry Garcia performing with friend, mentor and legendary keyboardist/vocalist Merl Saunders. The duo is joined by drummer Bill Vitt and bassist John Kahn, who soon became a lifelong Garcia collaborator.
