The Avett Brothers will bring their acclaimed live show to Grind City Amp on Thursday, October 1 alongside special guests Drive-By Truckers, marking the latest addition to the venue’s inaugural concert season.
Following a successful opening week led by Alabama Shakes and a free community grand opening celebration featuring a wide range of Memphis talent including MonoNeon, Eric Gales, and others, the newly-opened riverfront venue continues to establish itself as a new destination for outdoor live music in Memphis. Additional performances slated for the opening season include Wilco on July 7, with more shows to be announced in the coming weeks.
Located along the Mississippi riverfront, the 4,500-capacity open-air venue is a collaboration between Grind City Brewing and veteran concert promoter Nick Barbian of Barbian Entertainment. Designed to serve both Memphis residents and visiting music fans, Grind City Amp aims to expand the city’s capacity for national touring acts while further strengthening Memphis’ live music ecosystem.
Tickets for The Avett Brothers with Drive-By Truckers go on sale Friday, May 15 at 10am CT via Grind City Amp. A Guild pre-sale will begin Tuesday, May 12 at 12pm CT, followed by a venue pre-sale on Thursday, May 14 from 10am-10pm CT.
