Announcing the inaugural SF Bay Popfest, launched by Oakland Weekender in partnership with SF Bay Area record labels Speakeasy Studios SF and Slumberland Records. Sixteen stellar indie pop bands and DJs from across the country will converge on Bottom of the Hill for four exciting nights, August 20–23, 2026.
Headliners include legendary Slumberland Records pop maestros The Aislers Set, returning to San Francisco with the full band for one last hurrah at the soon-to-close Bottom of the Hill; songwriting genius Dear Nora, back in the Bay with a classic lineup; West Bay legend Tony Molina, Slumberland pioneer and craftsman of melodies distilled in pop perfection; and local favorites The Umbrellas, whose shambolic guitars, rich songwriting, and duet vocals nod toward the Pastels side of anorak indie.
Traveling from near and far, the full lineup also includes: Jeanines (Massachusetts), Lightheaded (New Jersey), Galore (SF Bay Area), WUT (Vancouver), Paper Jam (Denton, TX), Pillow Fight (Los Angeles), Wifey (Oakland), The Kitchenettes (San Francisco), Monster Treasure (Stockton), Artsick (Slumberland), Kids On A Crime Spree (Slumberland), and Remedy & Wren — along with DJs Kid Frostbite, Jessica B, Poindexter, and Wam Bam Ashleyanne.

Individual tickets and weekend passes will be available for advance purchase. The weekend pass includes a copy of the exclusive Teenage Fanclub tribute CD featuring tracks by the SF Bay Popfest bands. Weekend passes go on sale Friday, March 6. Daily lineups will be announced April 3, and individual show tickets go on sale April 10.
