The Infamous Stringdusters Announce New Single “The Light at The End of The Day” Ahead of Landmark 20th Album 20/20

GRAMMY® Award-winning, IBMA Award-winning, and Billboard chart-topping progressive bluegrass band The Infamous Stringdusters are set to release their latest single, The Light at The End of The Day on October 24, 2025 via Americana Vibes. The dobro-driven track is the band’s third single of the year, following “Dead Man Walking”—recently named by Billboard as one of the 5 Best New Country Songs.

With 20/20—their 20th studio album—arriving in February 2026, the Stringdusters celebrate 20 years together with twenty brand new songs that reflect both their deep roots and relentless innovation.

I really wanted to write a song of hope for this record,” shares Andy Hall. “At a time when things can seem strange, scary, and dark, I wrote this for myself more than anything. It speaks to how, when you’re feeling down, the night can be the toughest time. When everything is quiet and you’re by yourself. This song tries to reassure the listener that there’s always someone you can reach out to in those tough times. A light in the darkness.

The Infamous Stringdusters: 20 Years in the Making

Formed in Nashville in the early 2000s, the Stringdusters—Chris Pandolfi (banjo), Travis Book (double bass), Jeremy Garrett (fiddle), Andy Hall (dobro), and Andy Falco (guitar)—have carved out a space as one of the most fearless and innovative acoustic acts of their time. With a sound that blurs the lines between bluegrass, Americana, country, and indie-folk, they bring an electric energy to both studio recordings and stage performances.

As they mark two decades together, the Stringdusters remain committed to sonic exploration and curiosity, while honoring the tradition that first brought them together. 20/20 promises to be both a celebration and a new chapter in their evolving story.
