International Guitar Night 2026 Tour Brings Global Virtuosos to U.S.

Some tours come through town like a routine stop on a calendar. International Guitar Night arrives more like a once-only gathering—four distinct voices, four sets of hands, one stage, and an evening that can’t be repeated. For its 26th Annual edition, the world-traveling celebration of string music heads across the U.S. from January through March 2026, once again redefining what a guitar concert can be.

International Guitar Night consistently reimagines the possibilities of the instrument, pairing world-class players from different countries and traditions to let the sparks fly in real time. This year’s lineup brings together left-handed fingerstyle trailblazer Alexandr Misko, groundbreaking ukulele virtuoso Taimane, classical virtuoso Thu Le, and rock/flamenco powerhouse Lucas Imbiriba.

The show began humbly as a “guitar happening” in a converted Berkeley laundromat, but it’s since grown into a global phenomenon—selling out venues around the world, from The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh and the Igloo Church in Nunavik to Wolf Trap, Germany’s “Grosses Haus” in Rüsselsheim, and the Mareel in Shetland. The magic has always been the same: solos, duets, and full-ensemble moments that happen once, in that room, for that audience—never to be repeated in quite the same way again.

Over more than 25 years, IGN has built a reputation for leaving audiences on their feet—standing ovations and encore requests as a nightly tradition. IGN 2026 promises its fiercest, most mind-melting foray yet, offering a musical future that fuses cultures and styles while pushing the boundaries of what can be done on six strings—and four.

Meet the Artists of IGN 2026

TAIMANE (Hawaii) is a groundbreaking ukulele virtuoso known for high-voltage performances and genre-bending creativity. By continually upending the potential of the ukulele, she has become one of the instrument’s most influential ambassadors. Her concerts can move from Bach to Led Zeppelin, powered by a magnetic stage presence. As IGN’s first ukulele artist, Taimane expands the festival’s sonic palette with passion, precision, and fearless imagination.

ALEXANDR MISKO (Russia) is a modern fingerstyle trailblazer whose inventive technique and imaginative arrangements have earned him a global following. Rising to prominence through widely shared videos, he now tours internationally, records prolifically, and performs worldwide. The first-ever left-handed player to join IGN, his custom guitar enables drumming and on-the-fly retuning—fusing percussive innovation with deeply melodic storytelling.

LUCAS IMBIRIBA (Brazil) is celebrated for a dynamic fusion of flamenco speed, Latin American rhythms, classical lyricism, and rock intensity. After earning top prizes in multiple European competitions, he embarked on an eclectic creative path that has brought viral acclaim and tours across the world. His electrifying solo arrangements of classic rock and cinematic themes have captivated millions online.

THU LE (Vietnam) is a true prodigy who entered the National Conservatory of Music in Hanoi at just seven years old, becoming its youngest student ever. A favorite among IGN audiences, she’s celebrated for her distinctive style and impeccable technique. Her repertoire ranges from Baroque to contemporary works, complemented by Latin American and other global influences—while also honoring music close to her cultural roots in Vietnam.
