Vermont’s own J. Willis Pratt & We’re Bionic — featuring Jon Fishman (Phish), John Kasiewicz, and Chris Martin — will perform a rare hometown show on Wednesday, November 12 at 7 PM at The Den in Williamstown, Vermont.
Formed in the mid-1980s out of the creative scene surrounding Goddard College in Plainfield, Pratt’s band has long been a cult favorite for its raw, unfiltered rock energy and fearless spirit. Known for heartfelt songwriting and unpredictable live performances, J. Willis Pratt has spent decades carving his own path through Vermont’s underground music community.
The lineup’s connection to Phish drummer Jon Fishman has helped fuel the band’s legend — including a memorable night in 1997 when We’re Bionic opened for Phish in Albany. While Fishman’s schedule makes these collaborations rare, every show feels like a reunion of kindred spirits.
