James Casey Announces Trey Anastasio Livestream Afterparty Series

Acclaimed multi-instrumentalist James Casey’s livestream platform, Aux Chord, announces a new weekly concert series dubbed “The Afterparty” to air following Trey Anastasio’s upcoming run of “The Beacon Jams” via www.auxchord.live on Fridays, October 9-November 27.

Aux Chord is a live virtual music venue created by artists for artists in support of bringing together the music community at large. 100% of the profits directly benefit the artists performing on each show. The new Afterparty series will feature 2 hours of staggered live performances with a host DJ and multiple virtual stages that viewers can pop into throughout the night. The weekly experience also comes with the launch of Aux Chord’s new interactive audience feature, “Fancam”, which allows the viewer to watch alongside one another, dance together and truly interact with the performance.

The first episode of The Afterparty kicks off this Friday, October 9 shortly after 10pm EST, with DJ Raydar and live performances by Casey and Louis Cato. Tickets are on sale now at www.auxchord.live.

James Casey is the founder of Aux Chord, and a longtime member of the Trey Anastasio Band. He has worked with a who’s who of some of the most influential players in music today. Credits include The Roots, Phish, Meghan Trainor, Anderson .Paak, The Jonas Brothers, Maceo Parker, Carly Rae Jepsen, J.Cole, Leslie Odom Jr., Dave Matthews Band, Sabrina Claudio, Chaka Khan, Wu-Tang, John Legend, Roy Hargrove, Soulive, Lettuce, Shawn Mendes, 5th Harmony, and many more.

Louis Cato is a Grammy-nominated and internationally acclaimed instrumentalist and current member of Jon Batiste’s band Stay Human, as featured on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Cato has recorded with everyone from Beyonce to Q-Tip and toured with the likes of Snarky Puppy, Bobby McFerin, George Duke and John Scofield.

Brian “DJ Raydar” Ellis is a Berklee College of Music alumni who cofounded Revive Music Group with fellow classmate Meghan Stabile and helped cement the company as a powerful force in New York City's jazz scene. While teaching at Berklee, Ellis has crafted remixes for Blue Note Records, contributed session musician work for artists like Esperanza Spalding and Chris Dave, and has DJed electronic/hip-hop shows around the world.
