Jobi Riccio Channels Indie Rock Energy on “The Ridge”; Additional Tour Dates Confirmed Into 2026

Today, Colorado-raised, Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and musician Jobi Riccio leans into a new rock sound with “The Ridge,” a gritty, electric guitar-forward anthem of change and clarity– listen here

“‘The Ridge’ is a cathartic lesson in self-awareness, set against a backdrop of changing seasons and relationships,” says Riccio. “When I play the song, I picture a very specific ridge I used to go walking on in fall growing up—the crows and magpies, scrub oak and deer, communing with them always helped me figure out how I was feeling. It fell into place very naturally in the studio, tracked mainly live as a power trio of myself on electric guitar, and my friends Dom Billet on drums, and Paul Defilglia on bass. Organ and an actual harpsichord were overdubbed by my co-producer Jesse Timm to add warm witchy textures throughout the latter half of the song.”

Riccio continues to expand her touring footprint with a string of fall performances, including an appearance at Orville Peck’s 7th Annual Rodeo in Pioneertown, CA, and support dates with Lucius, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Esther Rose, Hayes Carll, and 2026 shows with John Craigie and Cayamo cruise. A complete list of tour dates is below and tickets are available here.

“The Ridge” follows Riccio’s poignant release of “Wildfire Season,” a haunting meditation on climate change and collective responsibility. “I hope this song can be a rallying cry to organizations and activists working to hold corporations accountable, for the indigenous LAND BACK movement, and a moment of catharsis for all those in need of it, especially those of us young enough to have to live longer with these consequences,” said Riccio upon its release. Watch her Live at Newport Folk Festival performance of “Wildfire Season” here.

Following the 2023 release of Whiplash, her acclaimed and “incisive debut” (The New York Times), Riccio garnered national attention and multiple honors, including: national TV debut on CBS Saturday’s Saturday Sessions; the John Prine Songwriters Fellowship Award from the Newport Folk Festival; an Americana Honors & Awards Nomination for Emerging Artist of the Year, Grand Ole Opry debut, and tours alongside Jason Isbell, Brandy Clark, The Wood Brothers, Iron & Wine, Molly Tuttle, Lucius and Hurray for the Riff Raff.
