Sister roots rock 'n' soul band Larkin Poe released their highly anticipated sophomore album RESKINNED via RH Music. Out today digitally, the album will be available in stores April 29th. A fresh version of the original album, KIN, RESKINNED includes new re-mastered tracks as well as productions by Chris Seefried (Fitz and the Tantrums, Lana Del Rey), Justin Warfield (She Wants Revenge, Nico Vega) and Wax LTD (Muse, Bon Iver, Miley Cyrus, Maroon 5). "With the release of our new record RESKINNED, we're pumped to unleash our inner roots rock and rollers. Our favorite songs on this record were written and recorded just a few months ago; it feels really good to give listeners an insider look at who we are right now. If you love it, share it with everyone you know," commented by Rebecca Lovell (Lead Vocals/Electric Guitar), one of the two Lovell sisters that comprise Larkin Poe.

In celebration of the release, Larkin Poe will be giving an in-store performance at The Record Exchange in Boise, ID before performing at The Egyptian Theatre alongside Elvis Costello. For more information, please visit http://www.larkinpoe.com.

Larkin Poe is a sister duo comprised of Rebecca Lovell and Megan Lovell - descendants of tortured artist and creative genius, Edgar Allen Poe. At a young age, the girls were classically trained on violin and piano while being exposed to classic rock icons including Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd. Rebecca (lead singer) plays guitar, mandolin as well as violin and Megan (harmony vocals) contributes on slide guitar, lapsteel as well as dobro. After experimenting with an array of musical styles, they found a way to blend together a sound that channels their distinct voice.

The duo has previously hit the road as opening and backing bands for Conor Oberst, Kristian Bush (Sugarland), Dawes and Elvis Costello who praises that "they have a head start on the rest of us with the unique power and beauty of sibling harmony". With years of domestic and international touring under their belts, and a large and loyal fan base already in place, the sisters want their fans to know that their new album RESKINNED is truly their coming of age project.
