Leaving Lennox combine elements of pop, folk & country, creating a unique and commercial sound. They are known for their strong harmonies & soulful lead guitar work, creating a modern twist on commercial pop.

The duo, originally from Sydney, Australia, is releasing their third single “Not Ready (To Leave Just Yet)”, written and recorded in Nashville, Tennessee and alike their first two singles, features Aaron Sterling on drums (live drummer for John Mayer), who also co-produced the track.

After a rewarding 2019 of festivals and shows, the band continues to promote their new music at a number of live shows and online shows, around Nashville and surrounding states.

In November, the pair toured their new release at several prestigious Nashville venues, including the “Mockingbird Theater”, alongside Nashville’s own, “The Beasley Brothers” and at the 2019 International Frank Brown Songwriting Festival, where they were chosen as one of 200 international featured songwriters. In December, the pair played at prestigious Nashville venues including The Analog hotel, as part of “The Canaan Cox Christmas Show” and Belcourt Taps.

Although 2020 has looked a little different for the couple, in terms of live performances, it has given them extra time to be creative and finalize some of the music they have been writing for the past couple of years.

“Its funny, we like to co-write with other songwriters and we try to do it as often as we can, but the three singles we have released so far, we are the only two on the credits. I think we are both really proud of that.”. - Lauren.

The duos new single “Not Ready (To Leave Just Yet)”, will be released on August 7th 2020 on all streaming platforms.

“This song definitely shows a softer, more vulnerable side of us and is different to our first two singles. I think we’re both really proud of the lyrical imagery in this song and feel our songwriting has improved tenfold. We’re so excited to share this side of our music with our fans”, says Val.
