For 130 years, Gibson has shaped sound across generations and genres of music, becoming one of the most relevant, played, and loved guitar brands around the world. Gibson is proud to announce the return of the SG Supreme. With a refreshed feature set, the SG Supreme is bound to be one of the most exciting new releases of 2024. The Gibson SG Supreme is offered with three finishes available at authorized Gibson dealers, and an exclusive Ebony version with three pickups is available only on Gibson.com.

Gibson SG Supreme:

Gibson is excited to announce the return of the SG™ Supreme. The SG Supreme features a beautiful AAA-figured maple top on a mahogany body. The mahogany neck has an ebony fretboard with a compound radius, 24 medium jumbo frets, and Super 400 Split Block mother-of-pearl inlays. The headstock is adorned with a striking new “Chandelier Inlay” in mother-of-pearl inspired by an original circa-1940 era Art Deco design that was discovered in the Gibson archives. The Burstbucker™ Pro and Burstbucker Pro+ pickups are paired with push/pull volume controls for coil tapping, along with individual tone controls. The three unique finishes, Fireburst, Translucent Ebony Burst, and Wine Red, are elegantly highlighted with gold hardware, making this not only a great-sounding and highly flexible instrument but also an exceptionally beautiful-looking modern rock machine. A hardshell guitar case is also included.

Gibson SG Supreme, Exclusive in Ebony:

The SG Supreme also arrives in an exclusive Gibson.com version in a plain maple top with an Ebony finish, three pickups that are elegantly highlighted with gold hardware, and features specs and aesthetic design identical to the above finishes. Additionally, the SG Supreme exclusive in Ebony includes a Burstbucker Pro (neck and middle), and Burstbucker Pro + (bridge) picks are paired with push/pull volume controls for coil tapping, along with a master tone control that’s hand-wired to an Orange Drop® capacitor. A hardshell guitar case is also included.
