Meet Shlomi Syboni Through His Take on The Doors’ “People Are Strange”

Independent music reaches Grateful Web from all over the world, and sometimes a familiar song provides an introduction to an unfamiliar artist. Singer-songwriter and guitarist Shlomi Syboni, an independent musician from Israel, recently reached out to share his interpretation of The Doors’ “People Are Strange.”

With three English-language albums released, Syboni has a catalog of original music for listeners to explore beyond the cover. He offered “People Are Strange” as a starting point—a chance to introduce his work through a song familiar to generations of rock fans.

Supporting independent artists, including musicians reaching out from beyond the United States, has long been part of what we do at Grateful Web. Give Syboni’s interpretation a listen above, explore his artist catalog on Spotify, and connect with him on Instagram.
