For the first time in six months, Melvin Seals & JGB return to the stage for a very special one-night event, "Cats On The Bandstand: A Very Melvin Birthday Show.”

The longtime member of the Jerry Garcia Band always celebrates his birthday with a big weekend-long bash on the west coast, but this year we will be live-streaming on his actual birthday, Sunday, September 27 at 4 PM PT and inviting everyone to join the party for FREE.

Joining Seals for this major event will be his band, which includes former Dark Star Orchestra guitarist John Kadlecik, deSol drummer Jeremy Hoenig and longtime bassist John-Paul McLean. Also expect call-ins and other surprise appearances from legendary members of the Jerry Garcia Band family, including former Grateful Dead publicist Dennis McNally, former Jerry Garcia Band manager Steve Parish and more.

Light Rail Station, San Francisco’s premiere recording and live streaming studio, is hosting the show. Viewers will be able to watch the show on Light Rail Station’s Facebook and YouTube pages for FREE.

In order to keep the stream FREE OF CHARGE, Seals and company are offering exciting sponsorship opportunities for those who want a more personalized experience. This is a chance for dedicated JGB fans to wish Melvin a very happy birthday, tell the band what they mean to you, shout out your business and be a part of the action during this extraordinary event.
