Acclaimed drummer Nikki Glaspie of The Nth Power will perform on Live with Kelly and Ryan with fellow Austin-based artist Max Frost today, Tuesday, June 7. Recorded live, the performance airs at 9am local time, nationally.

This marks Glaspie's return to national television following her week-long stint as a sit-in drummer on Late Night With Seth Meyers in December 2021 in support of The Nth Power's recent studio album, Reverence. Glaspie is one of the touring circuit's most respected talents, who's recorded with Beyonce and toured nationally with artists like Maceo Parker, Dumpstaphunk, GRiZ and countless others.

Following today's live taping, Glapsie will also travel north of Manhattan to join her bandmates in The Nth Power – guitarist Nick Cassarino and bassist Nate Edgar – to perform for inner city youth at a special career day event at Edward Williams School in Mount Vernon, NY.

She and The Nth Power are constantly striving to make a difference in the younger generation and inspire them through music, and the power of love.

Glaspie is a longtime board member of the Harold Robinson Foundation, an LA-based charity that works to bring positive experiences to inner city kids. The Nth Power's song "I Will Never Leave" on the new album was written about their work with the foundation and the group's commitment to affecting at-risk youth through positive change.

"We're trying to make a difference in these kids' lives. Whenever we can take the time to give back, there's nothing more rewarding," Glaspie says.
