Nu-Blu Launches Music, Miles and Memories Fall Tour

SILER CITY, N.C. — Award-winning bluegrass and Americana band Nu-Blu has officially launched its highly anticipated Fall 2026 national tour. The ambitious Music, Miles and Memories Tour began in Iowa and will take the beloved group to 25 cities across 12 states in the coming weeks.

Known for innovative instrumental work, deep-running Appalachian roots and sweeping vocal arrangements, the band brings its signature contemporary bluegrass fusion to venues across the country this autumn.

The tour follows major milestones for the band, including a sprawling celebration of its two-decade legacy and significant industry recognition. Audiences on the upcoming run can expect a dynamic setlist featuring hard-driving traditional rhythms, heartfelt storytelling ballads and tracks from the group’s celebrated recent releases.

Nu-Blu’s intricate arrangements and undeniable stage chemistry are anchored by a dynamic four-piece lineup:

  • Carolyn Routh – Lead vocals and bass
  • Daniel Routh – Guitar, multi-instrumentalist and backing vocals
  • Austin Hefflefinger – Banjo, guitar and vocals
  • Justin Harrison – Mandolin, fiddle and percussion

Founded in 2003 by husband-and-wife duo Carolyn and Daniel Routh in the picturesque town of Siler City, North Carolina, Nu-Blu has spent more than 20 years breaking boundaries in acoustic music. Over its storied history, the group has earned five Top 10 Billboard placements and routinely topped charts, most recently with the single “When It Rains She Pours,” which scored a swift Top 10 debut on the Bluegrass Today Weekly Radio Chart.

In addition to its commercial success, Nu-Blu earned 10 nominations at the 2025 Josie Music Awards at the Grand Ole Opry House. Nominations included Group of the Year, Album of the Year for Where You’ve Been, Song of the Year for “Where You’ve Been,” and individual performance nods for both Rouths, Hefflefinger and Harrison.

Beyond the concert stage, Nu-Blu serves as the permanent host of the internationally syndicated television show Bluegrass Ridge, bringing bluegrass music videos and artist news into 120 million homes globally each week.

The band has also been in the studio working on new music for release soon.

“We’re super excited to be bringing this tour to folks in the Midwest this fall and expect to add more dates into the spring of 2027,” Daniel Routh says. “The theme of the tour says it all. We’ve been prepping songs old and new along with innovative and surprising arrangements of fan favorites.”

The Music, Miles and Memories Tour includes stops at major theaters, community concert series and heritage festivals across the United States, including prominent stops at the Highlands Performing Arts Center, North Platte’s historic Fox Theater and the Dodge City Community Concert Association.

“We’re already having a blast,” Routh notes, “and we hope to make new memories with friends and fans along the way.”
