Fresh off her Oscar win for Best Actress, Jessie Buckley will appear on ‘20th Century Paddy – The Songs of Shane MacGowan,’ out November 13 – a new album honoring the late Pogues frontman, assembled by his longtime partner Victoria Mary Clarke and the Dublin-based label Rubyworks.
Buckley joins fellow Irish star Hozier on an upcoming track, while the first release from the project (shared last week) featured Bruce Springsteen’s take on the MacGowan classic “A Rainy Night in Soho”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?
