Philadelphia Folk Festival Celebrates 63 Years August 14-16, 2026

This August 14-16, The Philadelphia Folk Festival will celebrate its 63rd year as it returns to Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township.  The three day festival will boast a lineup honoring their signature mix of paying homage to their rich musical heritage while highlighting new and diverse talent on all seven stages for an unforgettable experience. Artists performing on the main stage will include Leftover Salmon, Tom Rush, Mary Gauthier, Eddie 9V, Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience, Big Richard, RUNA, Damn Tall Buildings, Kieran Kane & Rayna Gellert, and Philadelphia’s own John Flynn will both perform and act as the Main Stage MC. More artists, both nationally touring and those local to Philadelphia, will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets are on sale now via the festival’s official website.

On August 13, the festival will present its wildly popular Thursday night concert just for campers with a special soon-to-be announced lineup.

The 63rd Philadelphia Folk Festival will feature performances by longtime festival favorites and amazing acts never-before-seen on our stages,” says Festival Director Michael Braunfeld. “There will be something for everyone on the Old Pool Farm this year. We’ve got music, food, and crafts. And, of course, we have that wonderful magic that brings people back year after year. You won’t want to miss this one.”

Presented by The Philadelphia Folksong Society, The Philadelphia Folk Festival fosters music discovery in a safe and family-friendly setting with camping, food trucks, a variety of vendors and activities for all ages. Educational workshops and Dulcimer Grove (specifically designed for the youngest attendees of the festival) will offer enrichment and more enjoyment of the weekend.

The Philadelphia Folk Festival’s legacy includes a multi-generational audience who make returning to the farm each summer an annual event. It is a community of people coming together to share music and make memories between generations. Every year strangers become friends and lifelong friendships are forged to create The Philadelphia Folk Festival family, where everyone is welcome!

Discounted Early Bird tickets for The Philadelphia Folk Festival can be purchased through April 14 and are available via https://folkfest.org/tickets/. The Festival also offers a 10% discount on tickets for Philadelphia Folksong Society members.
