Psychedelic rock ensemble Heaven Man is thrilled to announce the release of their highly anticipated sophomore LP, "As One," on May 10th. To mark this special occasion, the band will host an album release show the same evening at Johnny Brenda's in the vibrant Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Joining them for this celebratory event will be special guests Brother JT and Mt Mostly.

Drawing inspiration from the revolutionary sounds of '60s psych rock, early garage, and krautrock, "As One" offers a modern twist reminiscent of artists like Chris Forsyth, My Morning Jacket, Garcia Peoples, and William Tyler—the latter of whom shared the stage with Heaven Man at MilkBoy Philly earlier in February. The distinct sound of the album is crafted by the synergy of its members: guitarist and vocalist Dustin Himsworth, bassist Zach Roumaya, drummer Andres Gallegos, and the newest member, multi-instrumentalist Jeff White.

"As One" is a progression from their 2019 release "To Yous," enhancing the band's formula with deeper group improvisations and increasingly sophisticated songwriting. "This record is a testament to our growth and a snapshot of a pivotal moment where we truly found our sound," says Himsworth. Roumaya adds, "It’s a mind massager for the modern listener, offering something genuinely unique."

The album features tracks like "Scary Joy," which encapsulates the band’s current sonic essence in one robust song. It is an auditory journey meant to "transport listeners while sitting still," according to White. Produced and mixed by White, the album was recorded at local studios including the Cathedral of Sheb and Spacement, with additional sessions at Greenwood Sonic in Villas, NJ. Mastering was handled by Carl Saff at Saff Mastering in Chicago, and features Robbie Simmons as a special guest on keyboards.

Tickets for the album release show are available for $15 at Doors open at 8 PM with the show starting at 9 PM. This event is 21+ and requires a valid ID for entry.
