Pick, Paddle & Play Beach Jam Returns to Fort Pierce November 14

What began as a community effort to help a neighbor battling cancer is returning to Fort Pierce, Florida, this fall as a full-day festival bringing together live music, outdoor recreation, and a good cause.

The second annual Pick, Paddle & Play Beach Jam takes place Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Causeway Cove Marina. The free, family-friendly event will feature live performances from Brothers Within, Stonyfools, Kairo Reef, Mangrove, Steven D. Hunt, Positively Fierce, Ukulele Russ, and Zoë Ashberg.

The festival has its roots in a benefit concert held in July 2025 for Christina, a local woman battling aggressive T-cell lymphoma. Organized by the nonprofit Stabilize Revitalize Fort Pierce, the event raised more than $10,000 to help Christina and her family, including assistance toward keeping her home.

That initial effort showed what a community could accomplish by coming together around music. Rather than letting the event remain a one-time fundraiser, organizers decided to make it an annual gathering that could continue helping people throughout the Treasure Coast.

This year's festival will benefit CareBag and Friends in Pink, two local organizations providing assistance to individuals and families affected by cancer.

Music remains at the center of the day, with a lineup of Florida-based artists bringing reggae, rock, and other sounds to the waterfront. Brothers Within, Stonyfools, and Kairo Reef are among the performers scheduled for the afternoon and evening festivities.

Beyond the stage, attendees can participate in or watch a paddleboard competition and skate jam, explore local vendors and food trucks, and bring the kids to a dedicated family activity area. A Community Resource Village will connect visitors with area nonprofits and support services, while additional activities will promote cancer awareness and healthy living.

The event is organized by Stabilize Revitalize Fort Pierce, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening neighborhoods, supporting local residents, and using arts and music to bring people together.

For organizers, the Beach Jam is an opportunity to continue something that began with neighbors helping one another. What started as a benefit for one woman has grown into a celebration of music, community, and the belief that even a small local festival can make a meaningful difference.
