Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will return to the nation’s capital this December for a three-night run spanning The Atlantis and 9:30 Club.
The festivities begin Thursday, December 3, with an intimate “An Evening With” performance at The Atlantis, followed by back-to-back nights at 9:30 Club on Friday, December 4, and Saturday, December 5. Fireside Collective will join Friday’s show, while Dizgo will help close the run on Saturday.
Built around two distinct configurations, the newly announced run gives The Flock an opener-free kickoff before Pigeons Playing Ping Pong expands the celebration across two nights at 9:30 Club. The format offers the band ample room for deep improvisation, setlist surprises, and the high-energy connection that has made multi-night stands a defining part of the group’s live experience.
The Washington dates extend another relentless year for Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, who have spent much of 2026 energized by the regular onstage presence of guest keyboardist Jon Brady.
Powered by their eighth studio album, Feed the Fire, released in October 2025, the Baltimore psychedelic funk band has spent 2026 playing packed rooms and festival stages across the country.
The announcement arrives just days before Pigeons Playing Ping Pong welcomes The Flock back to ACE Adventure Resort in West Virginia’s New River Gorge for Domefest, the band’s independently curated festival, taking place August 6–8.
From there, the band will embark on an expansive fall tour spanning the country and culminating with three nights at Brooklyn Bowl in New York.
The newly added D.C. run continues that year-end East Coast momentum ahead of a two-night New Year’s Eve celebration in Boston. Nearly two decades into their journey, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong continues to sharpen its precision and chemistry without sacrificing the colorful abandon and joyous unpredictability that keeps The Flock returning night after night.
