Pink Talking Fish has spent 2023 celebrating milestones. The band spent the 1st half of the year honoring the 50 year anniversary of Pink Floyd’s album “Dark Side Of The Moon” and performed the album every night. PTF also sprinkled in Talking Heads’ “Stop Making Sense” for select shows commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the concert which wound up being one of the best documentaries in musical history.
For the 2nd half of the year, Pink Talking Fish will be celebrating their own ten year anniversary along with other exciting events, festivals and more.
Summer kicks off with a Dead & Company afterparty in Saratoga Springs NY where the band will add Grateful Dead songs into the mix of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish. Other highlights include a long awaited Southeast run, a Halloween Weekend “Island Tour” in Rhode Island/Long Island and a stacked festival season that includes performances in New Jersey, West Virginia, Ohio, Vermont, Kentucky and Indiana.
4th of July weekend will be spent in New England with a July 1st return to Portsmouth NH on the outdoor stage of Cisco Brewers. Then PTF will bring it back to Cape Cod for a 2 night run at The Wellfleet Beachcomber, continuing their tradition of a high energy, holiday weekend, multi-night throwdown.
On September 23rd, Pink Talking Fish will perform a special 10 Year Anniversary show in their hometown of Boston MA at The Paradise. This will be a true family affair as the band celebrates a decade of creating dream setlists and performing the music of 3 phenomenal bands in a new and fresh way for lovers of these musical giants.
