Mark your calendars: Pink Talking Fish Ensemble is forming again on July 11 at The Dead of Summer Music Festival, hosted at a beautiful site in Manchester, VT.
Along with the four members of Pink Talking Fish, this special PTF Ensemble will feature Cotter Ellis of Goose on drums/percussion, Sammi Garett of Cool Cool Cool/Remain In Light on vocals/percussion, Joe Agnello of Dead Set on vocals/guitar, and The Gotham Horns.
For this PTF Ensemble, the band is also adding in the music of the Grateful Dead to their mix of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish, making this a rare and expanded version of the group’s already adventurous musical mashup.
The full lineup for the festival is fantastic, bringing together Pink Talking Fish and Dead Ensemble, God Street Wine, Leftover Salmon, Steely Dead, Jerry’s Middle Finger, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Splintered Sunlight, Brown Eyed Women, Saints and Liars, Dead Man’s Waltz, Jatoba, Tenth Mountain Division, Deadgrass, Rhapsody, Mystic Dead, Dogs In A Pile, Soggy Po Boys, Creamery Station, Way Up South, Krishna Guthrie Band, Picky Bastards, Jeff Black, Andy The Music Man, and more.
