Plastic Pinks' "El Animal" Available Now

Plastic Pinks is comprised of two brothers, June Summer (Lead Vocals) and Augie Pink (Rhythm Guitar/Vocals) who left Puerto Rico to come to Miami and start the band.  They were soon joined by close friends Dane Giordano (Bass Guitar/backing vocals), Trevor Mustoe (Drums/backing vocals), and Rod Woolf (Lead Guitar/backing vocals). They released their first album on Burger Records and have toured multiple times all over the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

The band’s latest release is a 6 song EP titled “El Animal” (Ghost Drag Records). The EP’s two singles “My Frenzy State” and “At World’s End” were mixed by Gordon Raphael who Produced/Mixed the first two albums by The Strokes, as well as music by Regina Spektor. Over 24 songs were recorded during this time while June recovered from a life threatening back injury. The EP shows the band’s growing musical abilities and a more in depth sound.  The band is now getting ready to tour again, to Mexico in May where they will play The Marvin Music Festival with Television, The Black Lips, AJ Davilla, and more.

Plastic Pinks have toured/played shows with Television, Ty Segall, The Black Lips, Thee Oh Sees, Broncho, The Coathangers, La Luz, Method Man and Redman, No Age, Shannon and the Clams, Night Beats, King Khan and the BBQ Show, Jeff the Brotherhood, Hinds, Ghostface Killah, Tall Juan, and more.
