Railroad Earth is hitting the road in 2026 to celebrate a major milestone: 25 years of making music, building community, and bringing their signature sound—highlighted by eloquent songcraft, bluegrass soul, and rock ‘n’ roll spirit—to fans across the country.
The beloved septet continues its longstanding evolution by marking the quarter-century occasion with a 25th Anniversary Tour. 2026 kicks off close to its roots on January 14 in Asbury Park, NJ, winding through many of their longtime favorite venues as well as a few cities that haven’t seen the band in a long while, including the tour closer on March 22 in Cleveland, OH.
“Twenty-five years. It’s hard to wrap your head around,” said Tim Carbone (violin, guitar, vocals). “We started this band because we loved playing together, and somehow that turned into a quarter century of incredible nights with the best fans in the world. This tour is our way of saying thank you.”
Over the past quarter century, Railroad Earth has built a legacy defined by improvisation, storytelling, and connection with their fans, fueled by their long-standing cohesion and artistry. From shifting lineups to the passing of a founding member to a cancer battle, the 25th Anniversary Tour promises to honor that ever-evolving spirit and the iconic catalog of Railroad Earth music, while continuing to push forward with new releases and a rigorous touring schedule—each night filled with two huge sets.
“The music feels as fresh and challenging as ever, almost as if it took 25 years for us to really get our heads around it,” added drummer Carey Harmon. “With the new additions to the lineup and new music, these shows are a great way to celebrate all we’ve been through.”
While this initial run represents a major stretch of dates, the band hints that it’s only Part One, so fans can expect more cities to be announced in the coming months.
