With the global spotlight already shining on Silicon Valley in 2026, San Jose Jazz Summer Fest is set to deliver one of the region’s defining cultural moments of the year—transforming downtown into a vibrant, three-day celebration of music, community, and rhythm.

Taking place August 7–9, 2026, the 36th annual San Jose Jazz Summer Fest will once again bring tens of thousands of music lovers together across eight indoor and outdoor stages surrounding Plaza Park in downtown San Jose. Featuring more than 100 performances, the festival spans jazz, Latin jazz, salsa, funk, soul, R&B, and global sounds, continuing its legacy as the West Coast’s premier Latin jazz gathering.

The lineup delivers a world-class mix of legends, innovators, and rising voices. Headliners include Patti LaBelle, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Zapp featuring Tuxedo, Adi Oasis, The Soul Rebels, Afro-Cuban All Stars, and Lakecia Benjamin, alongside standout performances from Thee Sinseers, Bria Skonberg, Taimane, Cyrus Chestnut Trio, Nicole Zuraitis Quartet, and many more.

One additional major main stage headliner will be announced April 25, adding yet another dimension to an already stacked bill.

Beyond the headliners, the festival unfolds as a deep musical journey—connecting generations and styles through everything from straight-ahead jazz and soul to global rhythms and emerging talent. The PG&E Latin Tropical Stage once again anchors the dance-driven heart of the weekend, with full days dedicated to salsa and cumbia, curated in part by acclaimed radio journalist Betto Arcos.

As always, San Jose Jazz Summer Fest is as much about community as it is about music. With its walkable downtown footprint, fans can move easily between stages while discovering new artists, local food, and the energy that defines San Jose’s cultural identity.
