DelFest continues its tradition of creating once-in-a-lifetime collaborations with the announcement that Water Tower will join Sierra Ferrell for a special performance during DelFest 2026, taking place May 21–24 at the Allegany County Fairgrounds in Cumberland, Maryland.
The collaboration brings together two artists operating at the cutting edge of roots music’s evolution. Sierra Ferrell, a GRAMMY-winning artist and one of the most compelling voices in modern Americana. And Water Tower, with a reputation built on high energy performances that pull as much from punk and old-time as they do from bluegrass tradition.
At DelFest, these worlds meet.
More than a sit-in, this set reflects the ongoing exchange that defines the festival itself. DelFest is where artists share the stage, challenge expectations and push the music forward in real time.

DelFest 2026 will feature four days of music across multiple stages, late-night sets, and collaborative performances curated by hosts Del McCoury Band and The Travelin’ McCourys.
