Riding the momentum of 11 total 2026 International Bluegrass Music Association Award nominations, Sister Sadie has announced an expansive fall tour that continues one of the band’s most ambitious years to date. The newly announced run stretches from Idaho to California and throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, introducing the award-winning group to new audiences while returning to longtime fan favorites.
The tour finds Sister Sadie continuing to expand its national footprint with first-time headlining appearances along California’s coast, new markets throughout the West and Northeast, and select festival appearances across the country. Night after night, audiences will also get an early listen to brand-new material as the band continues road-testing songs destined for its next chapter.
The announcement follows another banner year for the six-piece. Sister Sadie earned five IBMA nominations as a group, including Entertainer of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, Album of the Year for All Will Be Well, Music Video of the Year for “Let the Circle Be Broken,” and Collaborative Recording of the Year for “Just a Holler Over” with The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys.

Combined with six individual nominations for Deanie Richardson, Gena Britt, and Jaelee Roberts, the band enters this year’s IBMA Awards with 11 total nominations, further cementing its place among bluegrass music’s most celebrated acts. Already the first—and still only—all-female band to win the IBMA’s Entertainer of the Year award, Sister Sadie continues to push beyond traditional bluegrass boundaries while remaining rooted in the musicianship and songwriting that have defined the group’s career.
“It feels like we’re standing on really solid ground right now,” said fiddler and bandleader Deanie Richardson. “We’ve spent the last year growing this band in every direction—playing new cities, writing and performing new songs, and challenging ourselves every night on stage. To have that work recognized by our peers while also taking this music to audiences who may be seeing us for the first time is incredibly rewarding.”
While All Will Be Well continues to earn critical acclaim, the band’s attention has begun shifting forward, with a new record expected for release in 2027.
“One of the best parts of touring is finding out what new songs connect with people before they’ve ever been released,” said banjoist, vocalist, and co-founder Gena Britt. “We’ve been living with this music for a while now, and watching audiences respond in real time has been exciting. By the time these songs get out into the world, they’ll already have a life of their own.”
The fall run reflects Sister Sadie’s continued evolution, pairing respected bluegrass festivals with theaters, listening rooms, and headline performances. The tour also builds on the momentum of one of the strongest years in the group’s history.
Amid the fall tour, Sister Sadie will head to Chattanooga for the 2026 IBMA World of Bluegrass, where the band and its members will celebrate their 11 nominations alongside the bluegrass community.
