Soulive Release New Single “Baby Jupiter” from Upcoming Album Flowers

Soulive release “Baby Jupiter” today via Floki Studios. Tracked earlier this year at Floki Studios in Iceland and produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Alan Evans, the single distills the trio’s deep-pocket interplay — organ, guitar, and drums in lockstep — while opening onto widescreen textures born from the Iceland sessions. It’s the first glimpse of Flowers, Soulive’s first full-length studio album since 2011, arriving early 2026.

“I’m really excited to finally share ‘Baby Jupiter’, the first single from our upcoming Soulive album recorded in Iceland this past June. The song actually started years ago but, like many Soulive tunes, it needed time to find its way to the right album. As I was mixing the song, I was transported back to our first residency at Baby Jupiter in early 2000s New York — that same energy, joy, and sense of community. The connection was undeniable — Baby Jupiter was the only name that made sense.”

A rare live set is confirmed for Alpenphunk 2026 on January 30, 2026, at the Center for the Arts in Crested Butte, CO. Visit alpenphunk.com for details.
