Spafford has officially released their newest single, “High Beams,” the latest preview from the band’s forthcoming studio album Cat Shop, arriving June 19, 2026.

The new track highlights another side of Spafford’s evolving studio sound, blending layered psychedelic textures and melodic songwriting, while featuring lead vocals from keyboardist Cory Schechtman. Long known for the band’s adventurous improvisation and dynamic live performances, “High Beams” showcases the exploratory spirit that has defined Spafford throughout their career.
“High Beams” follows the release of the album’s first single, “Sweet,” and continues building anticipation for Cat Shop, set for release on June 19. Cat Shop continues Spafford’s long-standing tradition of blending layered songwriting, improvisational rock, and melodic studio craftsmanship into a sound uniquely their own. The album was mixed and mastered by Isaac Civitello with artwork, layout, and design by Kelley Wills.
With Cat Shop arriving this summer and a packed touring schedule on the horizon, 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Spafford as they continue pushing the boundaries of jam music.
