Strings & Sol Announces Lineup and Details for Next All-Inclusive Concert Vacation in Mexico, December 9-13, 2026
Cloud 9 Adventures announces details for the 13th edition of Strings & Sol, the premier bluegrass destination event hosted by Greensky Bluegrass and Yonder Mountain String Band. This annual concert vacation takes place at the beloved Sapphire Resort & Spa, a fully updated and recently expanded all-inclusive resort in the beautiful and quaint town of Puerto Morelos - just 20 minutes south of Cancun Airport.
The event features four nights of music set against the stunning backdrop of Mexico's tropical coastline from December 9-13, 2026. Host bands Greensky Bluegrass and Yonder Mountain String Band will each deliver three performances, while Railroad Earth, The Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, Sierra Hull, and Magoo will each play twice. Bela Fleck: My Bluegrass Heart (feat. Michael Cleveland, Dominick Leslie, Jeff Partin, Mark Schatz, & Jake Stargel) and Falco & Book Play Garcia each perform one show. Special guests Sam Bush and Jerry Douglas round out the lineup.
Ben Kaufmann of Yonder Mountain String Band has reflected on the unique nature of the trip, saying, “Strings has become the event I look forward to more than anything all year. It’s not just another festival—it’s its own weird, wonderful, oceanside universe."
The concert venues – a beachfront main stage, poolside gazebo, and open-air palapa – create an intimate atmosphere that has become the hallmark of Strings & Sol. These carefully designed spaces sit just steps from guest accommodations and the resort's all-inclusive amenities. The Strings & Sol experience extends beyond the stage with a variety of curated artist interactions that create the ultimate experience for music fans and avid vacationers alike. The intimate event has cultivated a close-knit community of returning guests, first time attendees, artists, and hosts who come together to participate in instrument workshops, beachside jam sessions, and theme nights. In addition to the happenings on property, guests can book off-site excursions to explore the beauty and culture of the surrounding Riviera Maya region extending from Cancun to Tulum.
A selection of rooms and suites are available in Sapphire’s newly constructed Club & Villas section, offering a private rooftop pool, restaurants & other exclusive amenities. A limited number of rooms will also be offered just down the beach at Dreams Resort & Spa. Dreams Resort is well appointed, all-inclusive and located less than 0.5 mile from Sapphire. Guests staying at Dreams Resort can easily connect to Sapphire by a quick beach walk or complimentary door-to-door shuttle service allowing them to enjoy the best of both worlds - all the action of Sapphire plus a second resort full of amenities, dining options, and room service.
Strings & Sol continues its partnership with Positive Legacy, a charitable organization that plans hands-on opportunities for fans & artists to give back to the Puerto Morelos community. The 2025 edition of Strings & Sol hosted an incredibly successful Day of Service where event guests helped restore the Casa de la Cultura, one of the oldest community centers in Puerto Morelos. The annual Charity Auction raised more than $32,000 to support student success in the community, with all proceeds benefiting ongoing projects in the area. More information will be released in the coming months on ways to leave a positive legacy in the region during Strings & Sol 2026.

All-inclusive packages for returning Strings & Sol guests can be reserved during the Pre-sale on April 14, 2026. Any remaining rooms will go on sale to the public On Sale on April 15, 2026 at 1:00pm ET on the Strings & Sol website.
Pricing for all-inclusive packages include accommodations, meals, beverages, activities, and shows for all four nights. Rooms at Sapphire start at $2299 per person (rooms at Dreams Riviera Cancun start at $2249pp) - with many upgraded room types available including beachfront swim outs and expansive suites overlooking the main stage.
