For the 49th consecutive summer, the beloved community-sponsored Summer Solstice Music Festival & Campout lights up Long Hungry Creek Farm in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, from Thursday, June 19 through Saturday, June 21, 2025. Hosted by biodynamic pioneer Jeff Poppen—affectionately known as “The Barefoot Farmer”—this family-friendly gathering celebrates the first days of summer with live music, artisan vendors, on-site camping and a spectacular St. John’s Day bonfire.

Since 1976, friends old and new have convened on Poppen’s sprawling organic acreage to enjoy three days of food trucks, craft booths, two stages of roots-and-river-inspired music and communal jamming long into the night. This year’s lineup features performances by Bee Taylor, Lady Couch, Cody Brooks & Co., Howling Brothers, Sugar Lime Blue and many more. Festivalgoers will also have the chance to hear Jeff Poppen himself lead his Organic Band in an opening-night set on Thursday, June 19—no shoes required.

In keeping with tradition, the towering St. John’s Day bonfire stands as the heart of the weekend: a time for storytelling, spontaneous kindness and a shared circle of glow beneath the Tennessee sky. “We’re a community of friends about 1,000 strong, sharing, laughing and enjoying a big St. John’s Day bonfire that we all circle around as it is lit,” Poppen says. “It’s a unique, nature-immersed experience with loving people enjoying the first days of summer down on the farm.”

On-site camping, car camping and RV parking (no hookups) are all available, and jamming is encouraged throughout the weekend. Tickets and weekend wristbands are on sale now at https://barefootfarmer.com/summer-solstice-music-festival-2025/. Admission is open to the public; children under 12 attend free when accompanied by an adult.
