In partnership with Mission Ballroom, Better Together Denver (BTD), a volunteer-run 501(c)(4) organization dedicated to increasing civic engagement among Denverites, will bring music and mission together on Thursday, October 2, 2025, with a benefit concert headlined by world-renowned DJ and producer Deorro.

A portion of the proceeds will support Convivir Colorado and Juntos Community, two organizations on the frontlines of mentoring immigrant youth, providing legal aid, and creating opportunities for Denver’s immigrant communities.

“Better Together Denver serves as a bridge between entertainment and grassroots action,” said Uriel B. Espinoza, Board Member of Better Together Denver. “At a time when civil liberties are being challenged, it’s more critical than ever to support the organizations driving change so their work can reach the communities that need it most. By standing with them, we show that Denver is at its best when we come together, amplify local voices, and turn shared experiences into collective action.”

Deorro is a globally celebrated artist, known for blending EDM and Latin music, and bringing together diverse audiences on dance floors worldwide. In addition to musical support from Bolo, Close Friends Only, and Levi Double U, the evening will feature opportunities to connect with Convivir and Juntos and learn how to get involved; immersive, LED-driven “impact moments” woven into the show; and a platform to highlight local community voices and grassroots advocacy.

This concert builds on the success of BTD’s 2024 “Make Your Vote Gigantic” voter registration event at Levitt Pavilion, which drew more than 7,000 attendees and helped over 4,500 Denverites update or register to vote.

“Music and art bring people together in ways nothing else can,” said Rico Gomez, Board Member of Better Together Denver. “This year’s benefit concert continues the momentum of blending music with purpose, proving that civic engagement, supporting our communities, and a good time can and should coexist. It’s about giving young adults new and diverse paths to shape Denver’s future and have a voice. With Deorro’s help, we’re proving that civic life can be accessible, exciting, and part of the city’s cultural life.”

Convivir Colorado empowers immigrant, refugee, and first-generation youth in grades 6–12 to embrace their identities, build leadership skills, and create positive change in their communities. Juntos Community strengthens immigrant families through DACAWorks renewal clinics, legal aid, and entrepreneurship training, helping youth and families build stability and opportunity. Together, their work illustrates the power of grassroots leadership to ensure Denver’s immigrant communities can thrive.
