Suwannee Spring Reunion 2026 Announces Lineup, Schedule & Workshops

The 8th Annual Suwannee Spring Reunion returns to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida, Thursday through Sunday, March 19–22. Nestled across 800 acres of majestic Spanish moss-draped oak and cypress trees along the Suwannee River, the weekend will be jam-packed with music rooted in Americana, newgrass, bluegrass, folk, blues, and more. This family-friendly music festival includes camping, hands-on music workshops, kids’ activities, an eclectic vending village featuring handcrafted goods and delectable food, and daily yoga.

Suwannee Spring Reunion has announced its daily schedule and workshop details.

With many acts performing multiple times, music will be staged across a variety of areas, including Big Cosmo’s Amphitheater, The Dance Tent, Music Hall, and the Music Farmers Stage at The Back Porch. Attendees can expect one-of-a-kind collaborations throughout the weekend—you never know who might pop up for a surprise sit-in, whether on stage or in the campgrounds. Everyone is encouraged to bring instruments and join the many campground pickin’ party sites, including Slopryland hosted by Sloppy Joe and the Bill Monroe Shrine hosted by Quartermoon.

The stellar lineup launches Thursday night with SCYTHIAN headlining Big Cosmo’s Amphitheater, delivering blazing fiddle, thunderous rhythms, and crowd-singing anthems that blend Appalachian and Celtic traditions with the Carpathian songs of their Ukrainian heritage. Preceding them is Jim Lauderdale—a two-time GRAMMY winner, 2025 inductee into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, and recipient of the Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award—performing with his band The Game Changers. Lauderdale will release two new albums in 2026 (Country Super Hits Volume 2 and The Birds Know), and this marks his only set of the weekend. Suwannee favorites Donna the Buffalo close out Thursday night on Big Cosmo’s Amp with the first of their four festival performances. Music begins Thursday at 3 p.m. with Big Cosmo’s Band.

Friday headliners Keller & The Keels return with their Appalachian psychedelic bluegrass sound, celebrating 20 years of Grass, now available on vinyl. They are preceded by Steep Canyon Rangers—touring behind their upcoming studio album Next Act—and acoustic improvisation ensemble Sam Grisman Project. The Jon Stickley Trio delivers the Friday late-night set, showcasing Stickley’s rapid-fire, bluegrass-inspired guitar, Lyndsay Pruett’s expressive violin, and Hunter Deacon’s dynamic drumming.

Saturday brings GRAMMY-nominated sister duo Larkin Poe to headline Big Cosmo’s Amp, preceded by a soul-stirring mountain music set from Peter Rowan with Sam Grisman Project performing music from Old & In The Way and more. Donna the Buffalo will once again keep the crowd dancing deep into the night.

Sunday—affectionately known as “Vassar Sunday”—is a day of gathering, remembrance, and celebration of those who helped shape the park’s musical legacy, including Vassar Clements, Sue Cunningham, Guy Clark, and Col. Bruce Hampton. Donna the Buffalo closes the festival with a special collaborative set featuring many of the remaining artists. Other Sunday performances include Peter Rowan & Jerry Douglas, Mosier Brothers Band, Shawn Camp, and Verlon Thompson.

Throughout the weekend, acclaimed fiddler and multi-instrumentalist John Mailander will serve as Artist-at-Large, sitting in with numerous performers across the grounds. Known for his work with Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers, Mailander will perform with Sam Grisman Project and the Mosier Brothers Band.

The Dance Tent offers its own vibrant programming, beginning Thursday evening and continuing all weekend with performances from Donna the Buffalo, SCYTHIAN, David Gans & Friends, Denitia, Jon Stickley Trio, The Fretliners, Tire Fire, The Grass Is Dead, and many more. Each morning begins with Daily Yoga with Rhonda Bell from 9–10 a.m.

The Music Hall provides a special indoor listening experience with stage lighting, air conditioning, and café service. Featured performers include Peter Rowan & Jerry Douglas, Shawn Camp & Verlon Thompson, The Grass Is Dead, Chatham Rabbits, Denitia, Sunnyside String Band, Grandpa’s Cough Medicine, Chloe Kimes, Blair Crimmins & the Hookers, Sloppy Joe, and others.

The Music Farmers Stage at The Back Porch—sponsored by the nonprofit Live Oak Music and Arts Foundation (LOMAF)—will host hands-on workshops and special performances Friday and Saturday. A raffle benefiting LOMAF will support music and arts programs in North Florida schools, including the Suwannee Spirit Kids Music Camp.
