Sweetwater Music Hall has announced its latest round of upcoming events, highlighted by a nine-day Days Between celebration honoring the life and music of Jerry Garcia from August 1–9.
The Mill Valley venue’s celebration includes Big Brother & The Holding Company, a Moonalice Sunday matinee, Brian Melvin’s Grateful Jam, an All Things Jerry art event hosted by longtime Grateful Dead crew member Big Steve Parish, and the JGB tribute See What Love Can Do.
Beyond the Days Between festivities, Sweetwater’s summer calendar offers plenty for roots, Americana, bluegrass, psychedelic, blues and classic rock fans, including Margo Price, Dan Tyminski Band, Sam Bush, North Mississippi Allstars, Marlon Asher, Flamin’ Groovies and more.
Sweetwater Music Hall is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization and intimate live music venue. Established in 1972, the venue presents all genres of music. Doors open one hour prior to show time. At Sweetwater Music Hall, the organization believes in the transformative power of music to inspire change and unite communities.
