Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA has a full slate of summer shows ahead, with a strong run of roots, rock, bluegrass, reggae, Americana, and Dead-friendly programming leading into its August 1-9 Days Between celebration of the life of Jerry Garcia.
The Days Between lineup includes Big Brother & The Holding Company on August 1, a Moonalice Sunday matinee on August 2, Brian Melvin's Grateful Jam later that evening, “All Things Jerry” hosted by Big Steve Parish during the First Tuesday Mill Valley Art Walk on August 4, and the JGB Tribute “See What Love Can Do” on August 6. For fans of Garcia, the Grateful Dead, Bay Area psychedelic music, and the extended Marin County music community, this stretch lands right in Sweetwater’s wheelhouse.
Before that, the venue’s July calendar includes Shark Alley Hobos, Jesse Ray Smith with Alex Jordan & Graham Norwood Duo, Margo Price with full band, Dan Tyminski Band, Marin Bluegrass Sessions, Sam Bush, Vonda Shepard, Marlon Asher, Teddy Thompson, Still Crazy’s Simon & Garfunkel/Paul Simon tribute, and more.
Sweetwater Music Hall is located at 19 Corte Madera Avenue in Mill Valley, CA. The venue is all ages and wheelchair accessible. Doors open one hour prior to show time.
